CAA Workshop: Jack of All Trades

  • St. John's Institute 11024-82 Avenue Northwest Edmonton, AB, T6G 0T2 Canada (map)

This workshop will teach writers how to increase their versatility in order to function in the gig economy. The reality of freelance work today is that you have to write in a variety of voices and work on a range of projects to earn a living, whether it’s developing an enthusiastic voice for a lifestyle article or finding that clear-cut one that will work for a tech manual. Through guided exercises, writers will learn and practice how to develop their voices for these various genres and mediums, and learn useful tips for self-editing that will help you deliver clean copy and please your editors.
